Jennifer Mena, B.Sc, R.Ac - Registered Acupuncturist
Jennifer has always had a profound interest in health and well-being. Upon discovering the many benefits of acupuncture, she decided to return to school and pursue acupuncture as a career. Since then, she has never looked back and is passionate in helping patients reach their health goals through acupuncture treatments and education.
Jennifer graduated with Honours from the Acupuncture program at Georgian College in Barrie. She is also a graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science. She is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Acupuncture is based on the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Each appointment will include an individualized treatment plan with an in depth evaluation of overall health, including an analysis of the tongue and pulse. Treatments may incorporate other TCM techniques such Moxibustion, Cupping, Guasha, Tuina/ Acupressure, electro-acupuncture and TCM dietary recommendations. Acupuncture is safe and effective in treating a variety of conditions. The most common conditions are pain, digestive issues, stress and anxiety, headaches and migraines, women’s health, infertility, and pregnancy and post-partum support. |
