Strength and Conditioning/Athletic Performance Training

Strength and conditioning exercises are part of a continuum of care from the rehabilitation of an injury to elite sports performance.  Dr. Lillie is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is involved in the training of athletes in a variety of different sports.

Strength and conditioning go hand-in-hand with rehabilitation.  Many people that are pain-free still have dysfunction which affects their ability to perform at the top of their game.  Therefore sometimes some strength training will resemble rehabilitation.  This is normal and is also the best way to ensure the safety and efficiency of a training program.  Rehabilitation and training are two versions of the same activity.
